Probably because the book was entirely in Taylor’s POV, I couldn’t completely connect with her but I enjoyed the relationship regardless. The heroine was also super sweet and endearing, but she also remained a bit of a mystery to me. Being so deep in her heart that she could say she loved me without thinking too hard about it. I loved the hero, he was so cocky and confident and to see his entire world crumble, and then this girl turn his life upside down was definitely a treat. This was so original, so refreshing and super funny. I’m convinced she can pretty much write anything, serious, light, erotica, any freaking thing! And King of Code is no exception. King of Code is the first book in a new series of standalones. And she has a plan for Taylor, his code, and his body. Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He’s not a guy. Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor’s code, and if he doesn’t get it back, he’s going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life. His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it’s hacked. From New York Times Bestselling author, CD Reiss, comes a sexy tale of secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and a love worth crossing a continent for.
